Read the state, not just the hours.
Hours are the truck’s plan. The state on its page says what is happening now: Live now, Paused or Closed. Directions appear only while the truck’s live location is fresh; when it goes stale, Laff hides them instead of sending you to an old pin.
- Open the truck’s page.
- Check whether it says Live now, Paused or Closed. In the app, a live truck also says until when, and a closed one says when it opens today.
- No directions? The location isn’t confirmed right now. Check back later or pick another truck.
For the operator.
If your truck isn’t showing as live, check in the Laff app that the right truck is selected, that location is allowed even while the app is in the background, and that your shift has started. The app on your phone shares the location; a browser tab can’t. If it still won’t confirm, use the shift recovery in the app or contact support rather than starting new shifts again and again.
