A useful service tool keeps the current job, the current truck and the next decision clear.

Laff for trucksBefore opening

Choose the right truck. Check readiness, menu and the location that will be published.

An interactive shift explanation. These controls do not change a truck’s status.

Before the window opens.

Check that the right truck is selected, that it is ready, and what people will see. Start shift is separate from your weekly schedule: it shares where you are parked now. If something is missing, Laff tells you what and how to fix it.

Sold out is useful information.

Changing availability is a service action. Editing the dish’s price or permanent description is a different job with different permissions. Make the temporary change clearly so somebody reading the public menu gets the correct expectation.

Menu and availability

Recovery is part of the day.

A pause, an old location and a lost connection each need a different fix. Keep the Laff app running on the truck’s phone: it shares your location as you move, which a browser tab can’t. The workspace shows what is confirmed and points to the one thing you need to do.
